webFUTURES uses the MCart or MCart ProSM Web Store builds your online shopping cart using point & click technology, creates product catalogs, organizes the layout of the site, tracks inventory, calculates transactions, creates invoices, generates sales statistics. These product automates your store management, and features capabilities for more efficient inventory control, improved communications with customers, and better Web store management.

The MCart order is secure. The shopping program is designed to run on basic (unsecured) server while customers are gathering their purchases. This server will not collect any information about customers while running in the unsecured mode. When they are ready to finalize their purchases, they will be transferred to a secure server. Once passed to the secure server, the customer will be asked to provide shipping and billing information. The private data will be encrypted before sending it back to you for processing. You will need to have a decryption key on your end to access the order information. webFUTURES uses PGP software to handle key decryption, and will install this software as part of the basic MCart setup process.

MCart ProSM comes with an inventory management tool that alerts you whenever particular items are in short supply. It allows for tracking of shipments via UPS, FedEx, and the USPS and, the sales control feature means you can implement short-term pricing specials on anything in stock.

You can elect to use MCart as a standalone component, and employ this method is a viable alternative for a basic start-up businesses or business which needs limited E-Commerce activity. If you choose to use MCart by itself, your customer checkout options are are processed in one of two way: 1) the order is emailed to you in an encrypted file format and you can decrypt the file on your end and process the order; or 2) the customer can print the invoice and mail the completed order with the appropriate payment information to your postal address.
